Fruit Orchard
In this design, 560 m2 of lawn are used to establish a permaculture fruit orchard, focusing on fruit and berry production, and biodiversity. A small mini-kiwi orchard is planned as a try-out for potential future business endeavor. Big focus on variety of herbaceous flowering ground covers as a means to attract more varied insect life.
This transformation process was not easy due to the significant effort required for establishment, reworks,
and unexpected results. However, this struggle led to deeper learning and a better understanding of the
forces at play in the garden, challenging my initial vision of a controlled, neat space. Learning to trust
nature, letting go of control, and allowing the garden to unfold in its own way are the three personal gold
nuggets of this project
